Hello and Welcome
Travel, Exploring, Independent, Adventurous.
Hello! I am Natalie. A born South African who emigrated to America for a better future during the Apartheid era.

While fortunate to have spent summers in France, I lived in New York and Boston; then settled down along the front range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. One never knows where life will take you, and with that, my former far-out job allowed me to move to London, where I currently reside, exploring cultures and castles throughout Europe and revel in laid back environments.
My interests include travel, nature, hiking, adventure, third-world cultures, history, fashion, art, architecture, archaeology, petroglyphs, and photography.
An Independent and Adventurous Free Spirit
As a free spirit, my life has been very eclectic. As I am now in my fabulous 50s, I am contemplating a new beginning. What I thought was a midlife crisis has turned out to be a midlife reawakening. Let us see where the journey goes while exploring this wonderful world we live in.
Urban Girl on the Go
Urban Girl on the Go is independent, adventurous, and consciously aware who loves the excitement of travel and exploring. Blogs include travel destinations, tips and advice, and essential toiletries. With the current Covid-19 situation and travel at a halt, join me and others as we share poetry and photography challenges and reminisce on past travel adventures.
While I haven’t done and explored everything, I have certainly done more than nothing. Come and join me on the road less and abundantly travelled. Come and discover your world.
Would love to hear from you! Say hello, ask a question, or if you need some suggestions or have recommendations.
